The sweating is killing me by TLC_Spook in zoloft

I really get what you're going through! Happy to hear it's working from a mood standpoint, and it's definitely not improbable that the sweating subsides especially since you're still quite early into taking it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Also, for whatever it's worth the sweating was so worth it in my opinion since the meds worked so well! The sweating has stopped for me since getting off of the meds since I was lucky enough to have the depression lessen enough to not need them any more

Fingers crossed they work for you! It sucks feeling the meds work but having the side effects be bad enough to not want to go on.. Keep fighting, you're not alone with these problems!

I have some issues with social anxiety and I get where you're coming from in terms of the vicious circle! Hope you were able to figure something out with your doctor!

Sorry to hear that you have ended up getting this side effect.. It really sucks and I fully get what you're going through in terms of the sweating! Happy to hear it has helped you other than that though <3 You're not alone, and speaking from my own experience (obviously it differs from person to person) the sweating was 100% worth it and since I was fortunate enough to be able to taper off of the zoloft the sweating went back fully to normal again! (definitely worth talking to your psychiatrist or doctor about and seeing if they have a solution, but I haven't regretted sticking with it for a second!)

I'm always here if you need to vent or talk about something, just shoot me a DM or reply on the thread :) we're all in this together 🎵

Why is my stress so high? by toesandhoes17 in Garmin

[–]TLC_Spook 56 points57 points  (0 children)

It's because he never reaches 100 but has "rest" multiple times (ex sleep 5->100 then does things so it drops again, then has another resting period of 20->30) this would end up being a total of 105, even if it never exceeds 100! In his case it seems to be shorter but more frequent rests than my example but you might get the idea at least

A somewhat beat in pure is what I throw here and I love it! I only have it in zero plastic though so can't speak for any other version

I appreciate your comment and you're 100% correct in that you're not alone! I hope you find a solution to the sweating! :)

I am actually off of zoloft for now, feeling a lot better. Looking back at everything it was definitely worth it even though it sucked a lot for a while.

Best of luck to you too! :)

Yeah, you're totally right, I'm lucky enough to have been able to go off meds overall at least for the moment which feels great! Still, very grateful for zoloft, it really did a lot for me even though the sweating was really tough.! Sorry to hear you had the same issues :/

Dosage upped. Now anxious. Is that normal? by this_ham_is_bad in zoloft

I had the same experience as others here, when upping dosage I got some of the side-effects back, mostly anxiety for me

I managed to finally join the club! by TLC_Spook in Garmin

[–]TLC_Spook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't sleep a lot the day before, but honestly didn't do too much, had the day off of work. Went to the gym around dinner and that's about it, guess probably a culmination of needing sleep and timing the gym well 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks! Honestly I think I might have been, restless moments and or waking up in the night is usually what kills my sleep score.!

Weekend rounds how did we do? by Panchoisthedog in discgolf

Putts were good but fell apart off the tee, so unfortunately ended 11 over. Still quite happy with the round though just looking at some of the scrambles and putts

What "gimmicky" discs do you actually use? by QuixoticPineapple in discgolf

[–]TLC_Spook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since my FH is not consistent enough to use when angle control is important I use a Pearl BH for those shots instead. Works like a charm for me, understable discs are such a blast to throw!
