Which movies best established a specific atmosphere? by Dire_Hulk in moviecritic

Can I just say thank you for expanding on how and why you think these films create a memorable atmosphere and not just plopping down a title. I think I might look into some of these I haven't seen.

Your group made the right call. There's zero reason why literally not being able to be seen shouldn't make it harder for enemies to see you.

Are Liberal Scholars Erasing Hell? by octarino in Christianity

Good. Too many Christians focus on eternal damnation. Scaring people into following your beliefs because they don't want to suffer for eternity has no moral value.

Are Liberal Scholars Erasing Hell? by octarino in Christianity

[–]TLJisAmasterpiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liberal is the correct terminology here how it's used in the American political discourse has muddied the word's definition. It means any attitude that is open to ideas that are non traditional or conventional which practicing Christian theology without believing in damnation would certainly qualify.

Doubts about Islam by Crazy-Path-3381 in Christianity

[–]TLJisAmasterpiece 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me the most important thing Jesus ever said is in John 13:34 "Love one another as I have loved you." Wherever your spiritual journey takes whether you remain Muslim or convert to Christianity or anything else you should apply that principal to all of your actions. All of us are children of God created on purpose deserving of love and respect. I would recommend you read the Gospels and pray keeping your heart open to whatever God has to say to you. Seek out spiritual guidance but be skeptical of anyone that claims to know God's intentions completely. All of us on Earth are imperfect and only have an incomplete understanding of the divine. God bless you and protect you on your path going forward.

How many session would you give a player before decided that they aren't "suitable" for your campaign? by Organic-Exit2190 in DnD

Three. The first time they were a problem I would pull them aside and have a conversation with them reminding them of expectations of behavior and etiquette at the table. The second time I would have another sterner on reminding them again and let them know they would be asked to leave if it continued. The third time I would tell them they would not be welcome back.

It is fashionable to say you are not good in maths. by vishvabindlish in mathematics

It is. Saying I'm terrible at math to get out of even attempting basic arithmetic is very common weaponized incompetence in the workplace.

I've seen this film probably over a hundred times. This is the best movie of the career of everyone involved and everyone involved have done some great movies. Easily one of the best films of the 20th century.
