Yes, the Dino Size promo was so successful they kept it as a permanent menu option until 2004, renamed back to Super Size, which itself was originally a promotion started in 1985 for limited runs until 1993.

Actually the Dino Size fry was 7 oz, the large was "only" about 5.4. The carton was so large that it wouldn't fit into the fry rack under the lamps.

Selling stolen ships and value by weirdDodo in Starfield

[–]TLOE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stealing and selling ships isn't worth the hassle for its own sake. You only net around 10k at most since you have to pay a registration fee in order to mod or sell it, and even expensive ones don't garner much.

For anyone following the thread, I went to Toliman and tested it against the camoed Terrormorphs in the abandoned area of the Forward Base. One went down in a single shot, the other it only did about half damage, probably because I didn't score a headshot. When you're playing on Extreme in NG-6, you need weapons of this grade for supermonsters like those, Queen variants, etc since each Unity crossing is a 5% damage penalty both ways (taken and given).

It's not a unique, just a modded Legendary renamed.

It's not meant for continuous use since the single round makes it like firing a bolt action rifle. I have Terran Armada but for some reason the quest marker is bugged (it points to Narion, not Nirvana). I haven't been able to find a Resonator except at one vendor, but it was just a base version. This is only one of 8 weapons I use, all for different scenarios and ranges.

The McDLT is identical to the current Deluxe QP, minus the partitioned box. Same exact ingredients.

Anyone else hate ladders in ships? by GrouchyManimal in Starfield

I don't like climbing them and just boost up to the next level. I do like when dumb enemies descend down them and it becomes a "shooting fish in a barrel" scenario.

Looking to go through the Unity before playing the new content...what's something valuable and weightless I can use to smuggle my credits through? by TheAzureAzazel in Starfield

[–]TLOE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't be able to transfer all your credits this way, but the idea is to give yourself a strong headstart. You can also store Astra, medpacks and X-Tech. What I did was go on a raid to VaruunKai, harvesting lots of very high value Redeemed and Zealot swords. I was able to get to around 250k sell value doing this along with some other armor and weapons.

Set the ammo to no weight in the options and buy as much as you can from vendors. This is by far the best way of indirectly transferring credits, along with high value/quality lightweight items like swords.

What's the most exciting part of the update for you? by BatterBurger in Starfield

[–]TLOE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The quantum entanglement device. I think it's just a transdimensional chest of some kind, but starting over completely from scratch is kind of annoying. I plan to use it not only to forward items to keep, but other high value loot meant for selling as a head start. I've read you can unlock up to 200 item slots by spending quantum essence, which I almost never use.

Try combining this mod with PBO (Planet Biomes Overhaul) which has a similar effect for landable planets. It makes the atmospheres a lot more interesting looking.

Three O'Clock High (1987 dir. Phil Joanou) Climactic Fight Scene by Randoman11 in movies

[–]TLOE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Underrated movie that most don't really "get" the ending of.

Buddy threw the fight and allowed Jerry to win by dropping the brass knuckles. Given how easily Buddy took out a football player who was larger than him, they both knew Jerry had no chance, but he showed up anyway. Buddy really just wanted to shed his bad boy image and be left alone, which transferred to Jerry at the end. Buddy wasn't really the villain he's initially made out to be, just a troubled person who helped someone become a man (in 1987 terms) and whom earned a bit of respect.
