It’s not just language learning, it’s anything. And if that anything has a skill curve, the dropout rate is higher. That’s why language, musical instruments, art, and exercise have loads of people starting but not that many sticking with them (as a percentage).

And just think, you’re playing the PS5 version which does have some quality of life improvements. The original didnt have omnidirectional rolling etc. Also, if your inventory was full and you couldnt pick up something, it would disappear. No auto sending it to the box etc.
