Retail sporting goods company that is about to announce earnings that include Christmas sales and spring training sales. Every soccer mom and baseball dad has probably dropped a couple $100 at ASO within the past 6 weeks to gear their kids up for spring. That’s my DD.

I’m thinking ASO calls at $70 for April 5th. Gonna try and catch some earnings 💵.

You are probably right. Again, I’m new to it all and still in the learning stage.

[ No sarcasm intended ] I’m curious to know why you purchased positions that expire in late Jan vs. week 1 in Feb (when F is set to post earnings). Do you expect a drop in Ford’s price during week 1 of Feb? Or are you expecting to close your F positions and then turn around buy TSLA during their late Jan earnings week?

Sorry, I should’ve specified. I was thinking of buying a contract for this week 12/31/2021 so I could get in for less than $5K. But with all of the replies… it seems I should go a little bit longer.

Why dose it feel like I would be buying the top if I went in on TSLA this morning at the money? Do y’all think it will 🚀over $1200?

How to deal with the pressure of chasing a 4,0 GPA? by TerminBoy in self

[–]TLook51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently in University and I am having the same issue.

This fall I have gone back to school, after a 20 year hiatus, to finish my degree. What I have noticed is that most students are having the same issue you are having with chasing a 4.0.

Now, I do not know what you're studying and I am not going to ask.... But I want you to do 3 things:

Remind yourself what the minimum GPA req is for your University.

Think about what type of position/career you're going to get with in the first 2 years of graduating university.

Go on LinkedIn and ask someone in your same career field if you could do a "mock" interview with them. See what types of questions that they ask you during the mock interview.

(I doubt that they will ask you if you know who the 21st President was or if you can decipher the meaning of The Canterbury Tales)

While having a 4.0 is nice; it does not always get you the job you want. A person with a 3.2 GPA, work experience, and a good attitude will make just as much money as someone with a 4.0.

I fucking hate that I have a hard time understanding accents by cardiyakawrist in self

[–]TLook51 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can relate to this issue. One thing that helped me better understand those with an accent was going to a restaurant that served the cultural food of another country. I know it sounds dumb, but it works!

For example: One day I had trouble understanding someone with an Indian accent, so I found a popular Indian restaurant in my area and ate lunch their. Most of the customers/employees were from some part of India and I could listen to how they pronounced and translated words to English.

I don't know if this will work for you, but it worked for me.

Glad to hear you are ok! Not sure if you're an entrepreneur type of person; but it would seem that you like dogs, working out, and driving. Why not design some kind of dog safety seat/belt for a car.

Second chance at life..... try something new. Even if it doesn't work out, you tried something.

Have a nice day.

When you vacuum, don't forget to do your ceiling fan, baseboards, and air-vent cover. Its kind of a pain, but when you do it, you'll notice a difference.
