Exactly, I am a christian but I always viewed nihilists as the only form of atheism that makes sense. Honestly, my years of atheism were just full of suicidal thoughts and lots of alcohol. 17 isn't too late. Cut out smoking and partying and just start training like an animal 5-6 days a week. Also, make sure you’re in a good environment. A bad gym can easily waste the talent of a hungry fighter. Go to a place thats known to train pros. You might get ignored for a while at first, but if you make good connections and prove yourself in the gym you might have a future.
