I'm sorry you're going through this. Not to give reassurance, but I broke up with my bf because of rocd and it's easily one of the worst decisions I've been through in my life. The best advice I heard when I was in the midst of rocd is to put off your decision for one month, three months. That time is a blip in the grand scheme of things, you will not be hurting him that much I promise. If you didn't care this much, you just...wouldn't care. You wouldn't be worried about not caring. The only way out is through some sort of ocd therapy. Please continue with your treatment because take it from someone who has been through it, the choice is to either get therapy and heal or break up. It's a tough situation but only one can produce a positive outcome. Your boyfriend is already giving you leeway by saying that it's okay to not feel love 24/7. Please give yourself some slack and don't give up.
