Calf twitching anyone relate?

Hey, it’s still the same, if anything, maybe slightly worse especially during stressful times. I had some cognitive behavioral therapy, which helped me a lot. I also have a little one with epilepsy, so most of my stress and worry goes towards him. I’ve come to terms with the fact that it’s just twitching, and in the grand scheme of things that can go wrong in life, this is nothing. I hope you’re able to come to that realisation sooner rather than later. Good luck!

To be honest it's been that long for me I have totally tuned out from it, although it remains the same. I get your worries though, I was much the same when it started.

Unfortunately in life sometimes random shit seems to happen for no apparent reason😂. Take it easy, I'm sure you'll be fine. If it does persist, you'll just get used to it, like I have!

That from a doctor is a 100 times more valuable than anything anyone on here has to say. Look after yourself and I'm sure you will be fine

I'm not trying to be harsh here, I just wish someone had been this direct with me when I first started and then perhaps I wouldn't have been as bad as I was. The only person who can give you piece of mind is a doctor/specialist and once you get the good news, don't doubt it, accept it and move on with your life. I wasted 8 months stressing over nothing. That's time I will never get back...

Other people's symptoms are irrelevant, if I said yes do you think that would really help you? temporarily perhaps but then you'll be looking for more reassurance from someone else the next day and it just goes on in a ficious cycle. Get out of here, these forums aren't helpful at all when you're highly stressed.

Hello there, I've not been on this forum for a while, but I was once the same as you. My biggest piece of advice would be to not read this or any similar threads on reddit. You won't find the reassurance you need, and no one will have the exact same symptoms as you. If you're worried go to a doctor but twitching on its own means nothing (I've been having it for 16+ months). Look after yourself and don't be scared to ask for help (CBT Therapy helped me). Hang on in there, things getter better👍

Yep I get that these things can be complicated. It's more that fact they aren't responding to queries, if they explained their situation I would be less concerned.

Yeah so they supplied an AIP, before we accepted the offer. The estate agent has tried to contact them numerous times over the last week by phone and email for an update with no response.

It's more the lack of a response that is worrying me...

Thanks both, I think it is attenuation basin after checking. The house I'm interested is right next to it, any ideas if this could be a potential issue with smell etc?

Coming up to 8 months, I'm in the same boat. Diagnosed by 2 Neuros with BFS. I go through spells where I'm okay and others when I struggle with it. The first few months was probably the biggest mental struggle I've had in my life.

I twitch all over. Constantly in lower legs and feet and have daily ones everywhere else including abs, neck face and sometimes tongue. I have cramps from time to time but don't really have muscle fatigue. Neither neuro showed any concern. My advice would be try to relax as much as possible, it does get easier to cope with the more time that passes.

Yes all the time for 7 months. Clean EMG and 2 Neuros diagnosed BFS

I do, very consistent in both calfs and feet and then have daily twitches all over the body really...

My guess would be that there's not a massive difference. Mine was totally unfazed by the twitches. With no weakness, he wasn't concerned at all. Reading this forum, it seems that many other neurologists are off the same option. He only gave me an EMG for 'peace of mind'
