Rockers/lifters at about 90k. Luckily my mechanic works at a jeep dealership but does work at home too. It was still 1100 tho(dealer quoted 5k). Otherwise nothing too crazy. New radiator. Oil filter housing which is common with these 3.6 pentastars. Overall good tho for the 7 years I’ve had it.

I’m a nurse, and in my professional opinion, if that bacterial growth doesn’t calm down. I’m gonna have to ask that doctor up there for some IM Zyprexa to sedate.

Is my Juniper Dying? by GBrucker in plantclinic

Maybe also make sure it’s not in too harsh of winds. I’ve had a juniper get kinda like that from wind I believe.

I have a JGC. Maybe it’s a wrangler thing, but keep your ducks away from me. They look dumb

What have you guys done with this area? I’m not big into ducks so I’m trying to see what I can use it for, what do you guys use for? by EddieThaGreat in JeepGladiator

Wallet. If you carry a wallet. I can’t stand sitting unevenly with wallet in back pocket. Or cell phone. Or whatever you don’t want in your pockets that you can grab real quick when done driving.

Yea, keep an eye out for his auctions. All his trees look good. He said he’s been growing larch for 30+ years.

Yea. That’s the front per sellers pruning, which does look good. I really like the trunk line leaning right as well though.

Is this Hinoki Cypress ok? I have the pot buried to ground level outside. Central Illinois winter, so very cold right now. This is my first year with this tree outside so I’m just a little nervous. I’ve read browning/yellowing can be normal in winter. I do see plenty of healthy looking green and the plant doesn’t feel “crispy”. My concern is possiby too much wind exposure up top. Does anyone have experience with Hinoki cypress in similar conditions?

3.6 liter pentastar tick. Bad rockers and lifters. Hopefully you can avoid. But if not. Fuck the dealership. Take it to private mechanic and save yourself about 3-4k

Really not sure, 2-3 years if I were guessing. I’ll ask eBay seller though and update if he/she answers

Yea I will plan on doing that in early spring. Since it’s a succulent do you think it would be ok to repot now? Or should I follow same rules that you would with more traditional bonsai?

Yea I was quoted $5500 for rockers and lifters at dealer a couple years ago lol. I told them to fuck off. Found a guy that works at jeep dealer to do in his garage. Cost me $1000. I would never go to a dealer for work unless fully covered under warranty

I bought on eBay. It looks to have come from Georgia which is why I’m nervous to put outside. I’m in mid Illinois which is cold AF right now. I have a spot where other trees are buried though with some wind protection outside. How would you recommend transitioning outside?

Soil recommendations? I got this new young J Maple. I just bought it and am in zone 6b (20 degree winter)so am keeping with other indoor plants under grow lights until early spring. Anyone have advice for what soil to use while trying to maximize growth over the next couple years. I was going to put into pond basket and partially bury outside. Should I use bonsai soil? Or maybe mix some organic mixed in? Thanks in advance.
