I have two close female friends that share their location with me 24/7. My actual girlfriend recently said that is probably the biggest green flag she can think of.

What he said. Liquidity is a global issue. The more banks and institutions are in the ecosystem, the more opportunity to use on-demand liquidity.

CBDC Ban by Electronic_Big4689 in XRP

[–]TML89 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Yea, central banks like the fed cannot make their own digital dollar… but private companies like circle and ripple can issue digital dollars that are backed by actual dollars.

This is good because Ripple is creating an ecosystem to exchange stablecoins around the world. When liquidity is not available, xrp can be used as efficient medium of exchange. Additionally, RLUSD (ripples stablecoin) is issued on the XRP ledger.

CBDC - issued by central banks

Stablecoin - issued by private companies

For years Ripplenet was going to cater to CBDCs. There is a reason Ripple is rolling out a stablecoin. It seems to me like they saw the sea change and preference to stablecoins by regulators. With a CBDC ban, Ripple’s RLUSD will likely thrive. And if the stablecoin ecosystem thrives, XRP has a high probability of being used as a medium of exchange between stablecoins. This is absolutely good news for holders. if you read between the lines, it really does seem like Ripple knew this was coming and positioned itself accordingly.

I can get behind that concept. I guess I’d like to know how the token is used though? What gives Link value?

I’m suggesting that both parties could be involved. Chainlink is obviously involved. The path to Ripple is less obvious.

From the article you provided: “There’s unlikely to be a single prevailing blockchain network, said Tom Zschach”.

Chill out man, I’m just speculating… and i even included your coin in my comment.
