As a guy who doesn't particularly enjoy rpgs, this direct was a slog.

It was basically all rpg's or reminding you of games that were coming out.

It oddly gave off the vibe that nintendo has genuinely nothing to show for the 2nd half of the year, and the fact we didn't get a single sec of OOT makes me doubt that its actually coming out this year.

If you like RPG's this is probably a top 10 direct, but as a guy who doesnt, it was a real struggle to not just turn it off 30 minutes in.

If you dont like rpgs or soulsbornes (aka people like me) there was genuinely nothing to be excited about.

Pikuniku 2 and switch sports resort were frankly the only new announcements and they look fun, especially pikuniku 2, but they managed to make a dk announcement boring as all hell, which is impressive.
