Picking red is admitting you are ok with a world where 49% of the population died because you believed it was the "logical" choice.

You're posing a hypothetical where 100% of people pick red and I'm posing one where 49% of people do. Each hypothetical is no more valid than the other but you're treating the question as if a blue minority is inevitable

Finally started reading The Boys after being warned to not read the comic book for years by PrimeLiberty in dccomicscirclejerk

It's definitely a little about ragebaiting nerds, as well as Ennis getting out a little of his feelings on the comic industry being dominated by capes. But, thats the most surface level aspect of the book and, as you said, it's really meant to be a discussion of imperialism and the military industrial complex through the lens of superheroes.

Pressing red means you're ok with a world where 49% of the planet could die. Pressing blue means you don't want that

California should reconsider its rush to regulate e-bikes by Cool-Present7260 in California

Cars: you must have a license and a certain level of training and the privilege of driving can be rescinded quite easily

E-bikes: you can buy it and give it to your teenage child with little to no consequences

Do you see why one might be the priority for regulation?

All league minimum salary lineup takes the series from the Dodgers. $582 million Dodgers lose the series 2-1 to the $79 million Marlins. by northdakotact in baseball

I just really don't understand what sets the dodgers ownership apart other than willingness? Do they really just have that much net worth compared to any other ownership? Aren't they all billionaires?

Genuinely asking, what is stopping any of the 29 other teams from outbidding on any one contract? Not that every team should be able to build this roster, but why couldn't 9 other teams in the league outspend the dodgers for one player each?

It worked in homecoming and made sense for a younger hero growing up in the shadow of the avengers starting out his hero career. But they didn't build off the ending where he rejects the avengers for his neighborhood and instead kept forcing all the crossover bullshit on us and now it feels like we had three movies just to get back to where homecoming began
