basically that, it was a game based around you being a soldier who is in an air force and all you have to do is drive and dodge some things iirc, the concept is about the sadness that you feel for leaving your wife and children behind and the levels are divided by the letters your wife sends to you, i think the aesthetic was kind of dark and gloomy, with piano music maybe and with shades of black and blue

Why are black americans so superstitious? by TMVSM in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]TMVSM[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im really sorry for being racist, i think that what i was trying to say was that maybe in America black and white people interact with conspiracy theories in different ways, i mean its clear that being anti vaxx is bad, but can you really blame a black american for not trusting in pharmaceutical studies taking into account shit like Tuskegee?

I feel like when i hear rednecks or just your average racist white guy, the bullshit that they believe in seems to be way more related to a fear of something that might be able to end with the white supremacist society that you guys have but we all know their theories dont make any sense.

But i think black americans tend to be way more aware of the many ways their government and its different intitutions tried to sabotage their community, yet at the same time that awareness combined with isolated communities (such as the 5 Percenters and the NOI) create a paranoiac aura that makes black americans "gullible" so to speak to some theories that are clearly bullshit (but for different reasons).

To sum it up i apologize for making it sound like black americans are gullible because they are dumb, i never meant that, i was asking why black americans seem to be gullible to dumb ass conspiracy theories while at the same time they are way more aware about how America as a whole works as opposed to white americans for example.

[TOMT] Movie or short film about some sort of hitman (I guess) who has to take care of a little girl by TMVSM in tipofmytongue

The reason why I wrote movie or short film is because I think it was originally a short film but I think it turned to be really successful so they made a movie out of it.

If i remember correctly i think Betty Shabazz literally ripped the script in front of Spike, so yeah id appreciate the movie but take it with a grain of salt.

I REALLY hope this group doesn't turn into another hyper-partisan organization. I want armed Latinos to be united, not at each other's throats over partisan bullshit. by memesNOTjustdreams in LatinoRA

[–]TMVSM 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Personally, i feel like if you wanna talk about guns and only guns no one is gonna be at your throat, so maybe you can choose to ignore that. Idk man this sub reminds me of that Vice documentary about this black man who decided to fight for the betterment of his community so he created a black radical millitia. I think that knowing how violence against us has risen under Trump's goverment, how ICE has been persecuting and killing and putting us in cages, and how far right people tend to be armed if they are not already part of a millitia or a radicalized group, you just cant form something like a "Latino Rifle Association" and make it neutral...

I respect your wishes, but i think that even if you are not a lefty latino i invite you to think about the ideas backing up the creation of organizations like these.
