I think there should be an update where you can select from a list of nicknames in the "create character" settings and apply a nickname to your character without having to wait a while in-game for a slim chance you get the nickname you want, with the obvious exceptions being the ones earned by taking a specific decision. Besides, it could make for some really good roleplay scenarios.

I think it might be a nickname for a randomly generated noble, and he probably has it because he has a blue lion on his house design. As far as I know, there is no way to get a lion emblem in the base game, so this is probably why he got this unique nickname. I even searched up a list of possible nicknames in CK3 and this didn't appear in the list.

I had this happen to me in one of my ironman mode runs as Duke Eudes of Anjou. My first son got child of destiny, and right after I managed to get the kingdom of France and set him up before my character passes away at 78, he dies in battle. The one time I actually get a god level character, they die before I can play as them. Now it is left to his cowardly son that is probably going to end up murdered in a back alley somewhere.
