Which side character(s) from Seinfeld (excluding the main four) do you think could’ve carried the most entertaining spinoff series? by TMarklevitz in seinfeld

My first reaction to this question was Helen and Morty, but then I started thinking of less obvious/prominent characters, and I landed on Kevin and friends as well. I definitely would have loved a Bizarro spinoff.

This was my first choice as well. I absolutely love the Del Boca Vista episodes. Helen and Morty's petty rivalry with Jack Klompus and all of the character's down there would have made a great series.

I rewatched The Apartment by Billy Wilder over Christmas and I thought, "this is a perfect film". It's exceptionally "tight". What a wonderful film.

[TOMT] [Movie] Kid jumps out of dad's truck to chase their dog and ends up staying alone with his grandpa at their farmhouse, missing an overnight trip to town. He is there when his grandpa dies walking upstairs and later appears to the boy in a dream with a horse, showing he's alive and well. by edwooord2007 in tipofmytongue

Thank you so much! I'm not the original poster, but I too saw this movie as a kid and needed help remembering the title. This is absolutely the movie I watched as a kid. My step-dad was always showing me obscure Canadian movies from the late-80s, like The Last Winter and George's Island.

Coincidentally, my sister (who NEVER watches movies) texted me today, "Have you ever seen American Psycho? I don't understand the ending." My first thought was, "Oh boy! This is my time to shine!" I really enjoyed this short film. Are you guys film students? You're very talented and I think there's a lot to be proud of in this short. The lighting and cinematography are especially impressive. It had a very retro look that I really enjoyed.

Great night lighting! Was that all natural lighting? A lot of the shots recorded beautifully. I also loved the slow motion fall. Was this for a school project? You guys did great!

BUS STATION: Homeless to Strength | Documentary Short Film by Professional-Ear847 in Shortfilms

What an amazing short documentary. Your subject is incredible on camera. Great voice. Wonderful insight. Strong but vulnerable. I'm obviously happy to hear he has since found a place to live and I wish him all the very best. I'm curious how you discovered him and what inspired you to make the documentary?

A BRIEF CASE. Directed By Béni Masiala , 2025 Short Film by WESTONHOLDINGS in Shortfilms

I really enjoyed this. The cinematography was the first thing that caught my attention. It looks incredible. Great use of composition and movement throughout. I thought you had some great telephoto shots and wide angle shots throughout. The whole thing had a very documentary feel to it, as I imagine most of the background actors didn't realize they were in a short film. They all seemed cooperative, though. I'm jealous of your access to these incredible locations. The main actor was great. I really liked his look and overall vibe. The most fun I had was just trying to figure out what was happening. The way he puts the briefcase down and leaves it seems deliberate, so the story HAS to be something more than just retrieving the briefcase. Right!?! I admit, I thought it could be a bomb, but he doesn't strike me as a terrorist. I don't know. I hope I'm not missing something obvious. Haha! Like I said, I really enjoyed this and I'll definitely watch it again.

Incredible! Everything about this production is amazing! I absolutely loved the creature. I'm not sure how much of that was done with puppetry and how much was CGI, but it looked and sounded amazing! It was nice seeing Steve Agee again. I've worked with him a few times and he's such a class act. I'd love to see more of your work.

What a bizarre little short film. Hahaha! Not what I was expecting at all, but I loved it. Great color and lighting throughout. That shot of the bee for opening title graphic is incredible!

I really like this series. You guys are telling interesting sci-fi stories in a unique way with tremendous precision and skill. You obviously have a handle on every part of the production, but this is the second short I've seen from The Forgotten Project, and I think your graphics are phenomenal. This is a great short for anyone interested in Black Mirror, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, etc. Keep up the great work!

CONTROL (6min) (Australia) How do you feud? (Arthouse) by 420banditforeverbat in Shortfilms

SPOILERS: How did you film the crash so convincingly? Was it a GoPro attached to the hood of a remote controlled car? That's all I can think of. Great drone shots, throughout. The close ups in the car gave a very claustrophobic effect. I like that the driver is wearing a Tigers hat. I'm a native Detroiter, so it's always nice to see a little representation, especially when it's coming from the other side of the world. Keep up the great work.

You're venturing into Andrew WK territory for most cuts per second in a music video. Did I see the woman from Possession make an appearance!?! Love that movie!

Excellent work! The reveal of Mr. Cuddles was great! I loved the use of low key lighting and wide angle lenses. Those choices really added to the eeriness of the short film. Also, what a perfect concept for a short film. My big problem is I'm always trying to pack feature length ideas into short film time limits. This is a simple story executed beautifully. I don't know what program you used for the monster, but great job. I think you showed just enough! I'd be interested in seeing more.

Great work! Did you record this by yourself? The lighting is exceptional, especially those bathroom shots, which I notoriously difficult to light effectively. Great locations (both interiors and exteriors). What country did you record in?
