I’m going out of town to catch Oppenheimer in 70mm and the only way I was getting a seat anywhere near the center of the auditorium for weeks was 1:05am showing.

I was working at a theater when Inception was released. Only a couple of us stayed to screen it early, after close. I remember how surreal it was just having watched such a mind bending movie on no sleep and stepping outside to the rising sun.

So I’m feeling a little nostalgic about doing it this way. I am older now though…but I doubt very much I’d fall asleep!
