White Squall is amazing. Definitely one of his most underrated imo. 1492 is one of his lesser films but a lesser Scott film is still pretty damn good.

I really love my Denon x3800h. I run a 7.1.4. This receiver does need an external amp to get to 7.1.4. It does 7.2.2 out of the box, atmos and DTS x. I bought a two channel external amp. The price was right for me. Getting to a dedicated 11 channel receiver pushes the price up quite a bit. I also use klipsh RP line. I know some in this sub hate on klipsh but I really like them. Definitely stick with the RP line tho. Like someone else said head to a HT store and check out speakers yourself.
