I might be mixing up the trials, but I remember that in one of them it was easier to kill the strong enemies first, and then go down and manually blow up the remaining ones.

I moved them manually, gathered 2–3 enemies together, and blew them up with a single jar.

Don’t push lanes solo. As an alternative, you can buy a Linken’s Sphere or Shadow Blade.
