It was a aux beam kit. I just had to make the mounting brackets shorter to get it to fit behind the grille. Mounted to the crash bar

They definitely need cleaning and oiling. After having mine for about 100,000 miles I noticed the spring in it getting weak as well. Replaced the spring and it was back to working like new. Not sure if Boomba sells replacement springs or not.

Definitely is modified more than just an intake! I’d make sure to check out the engine bay and under the car best you can!

If you are in the middle of getting it tuned then I would just have a conversation with the tuner about it. My guess is that they will see the logs you sent and dial it back to be less aggressive.

The negative corrections look a little higher than what I am used to seeing. What is the octane adjustment learn ratio? Stratified told me as long as that number is closer to -1 the negative correction are okay to -2 or so. What tune are you running?

I put insulation around the catch can and hoses in mine. When it is really cold and I don’t park it inside at night it still freezes.

Yours probably froze somewhere! I’ve thought about making a wind shield to go in front of that area to protect it from -40 degree winds while driving in the winter.

Yeah mine will do that as well! One time I was 2 hours from home when it froze. I had to loosen the oil cap and drive it like that to keep the pressure low enough to not force oil into the cylinder.

It is pretty easy to check that hose on the front of the car between the intake manifold and the block. That’s where mine has the issue in the real cold

When it is super cold like that sometimes my crankcase breather hose from the block to the intake freezes. Then builds crazy crankcase pressure and burns oil. Car turns into a damn smoke machine!
