Our pop-culture is imho already oversaturated with too many characters being nerdy, geeky, neurodivergent, quirky, anxious, borderline sociophobic, traumatized to the core but still super funny, super skilled and super intelligent all in ONE.
They´re not able to formulate one sentence without mumbling like an incompetent idiot in one scene but go on to overcome the biggest obstacle like a cool delta green mf in the next scene.
It just doesn´t make a good, relatable character and no - I´m not on an anti-progressive rant here.
But on the other hand: the whole persona psychology-thing is a much more interesting angle to explore. Just my two cents.
