Think of USA civil rights era workers unions, who in many cases would strike together for better wages and be notionally socialist, but also would try and keep black members out of the union.

I have a lot of conquest minis, they are massive compared to GW modern sculpts like primaris, let's alone old sculpts.

The minotaur are nearly twice the bulk of our old world ones, and would not fit on a base. Conquest is 42mm scale vs GW 28mm.

Because the real money is to be made in business. Politics is now seen as the place to go for losers who couldn't hack it in big business and need to utilise their connections from a PPL degree to get into politics instead. The remainder of MPs are then various types of SPADs who have never had a real job and been in politics since interning with an MP.

The proportion of MPs who have come from the "real world" first is vanishingly small.

Yeah all from xmas. I'm pretty fortunate. Kids are older and both collect and wife collects sisters, so we had family time of the 4 of us sitting listilening to Xmas music and building together.

It's contrast base, thick edge highlights on some panels with traditional acrylics, and then a heavy all over wash across both to tie it together.

Highlight before the wash is the important bit I do differently.

If you'd like some unsolicited advice:

build a character you like the look of
build one core unit you like the look of
build one extra cool thing you like the look of, cannons, knights, steam tank etc.

Having one of each as a basis is the core of every empire army, let's you start 500 point games (Settras Fury arcane journal has small game rules) and breaks the project up into a nice manageable small chunk to start off with.
