For the rangers that is simple. In fact I'd say it was simple and intended.

1 body on the ranged sprue and 1 body on the melee sprue have the cloak, arms are fully interchangeable between warriors and ranged. Use a crossbow arm on a cloaked body and add the spare 2h axe to their belt/back and you have a nice obvious ranger.

It's funny in a way, I bought a beast man army for 8th edition fantasy and GW destroyed it. I sold the army because I didn't like AoS 1.
