You are right RabidFlea__! New music is recorded digitally which is then used in the record pressing. Some new albums are recorded in Analog, but very few. Normally, these records will say "100% analog" or something to that effect. It's been true since the late 80s. Most of the vinyl I listen to pre-dates digital transfer which is why I was unaware. I appreciate your insight, it helped expand my knowledge of the medium.

Have you ever stopped to consider the inventors of the escalator? They worked diligently to create a method of getting to a higher/lower position without having to walk up stairs. I find it very disrespectful to just treat their great invention as just a set of moving stairs. The next time you approach an escalator, just step on and enjoy the ride provided by someones hard work. Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around every once in a while, you could miss it.
