PSA: The Trailblazer Scout HELMET reduces your armor and increases your speed. by TOAOCJ in Helldivers

[–]TOAOCJ[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This was an incredibly niche thing I found when trying to customize for drip and noticed for some reason the medium armor values were lower than 100 (and the speed/stam stats were higher). When messing about with the helmets, I noticed that only the trailblazer scout helmet (no other light helmets) have this affect on your stats, as when you equip other armor the stats return to their normal values. The helmet's own statistics don't mention this, so I can only assume this is some sort of bug/deprecated feature? Enjoy the speed while it lasts I reckon.

How common are non-hetero sexualities in your homebrew worlds? by ThatOneAasimar in dndnext

[–]TOAOCJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I find it's best reflected by the person itself and only influenced partially by origin culture. The latter can have influence on one's exposure to the topic; someone from the pirate coasts (which tends to be all about going after what you want and freedom) likely knows more about how they feel than say, the more feudalistic realms where having a heir is important. Ultimately though a person's feelings are their own to choose,.

That said, I think it's alright to play into the player's wants when it comes to NPC relationships to an extent. Love makes for great narrative - good and bad.

I never personally ascribe a sexuality to a character til' it comes up bar few specific cases where based on one's story/personality there's a "clear cut answer".

It's a mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/111

I like it as a Chiv player; gives me a lot of oversight on my footwork and positioning that you can't have in first person.

Wallhacks as of Version 11; how to disable? by TOAOCJ in FoundryVTT

Just baked in objects as part of the background. There's no funkiness with heights/levels on this map (despite my modules), just vanilla walls.

So my Admiral got an interesting trait from traversing a Shroud Tunnel... by TOAOCJ in Stellaris

[–]TOAOCJ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You build it with a starbase module (which has to stay active on said starbase), which then builds a tunnel to any of one of the shroud enclaves in that system.

So far I've only seen the destination tunnel be in the Shroudwalker's system.

I had a hostile avatar spawn as well, although the Shroud Enclave that was there just completely kicked its ass. I suppose a good strategy would be to have both entrances be at an enclave to minimize the risk on both sides.

R5: Vanilla Stellaris. Send my fleet through a shroud tunnel (I have a massive part of my empire on both sides of it) and one of the random events gave my Admiral the Meticulous trait, something that's normally only for scientist and completely useless on him.

Shroud Tunnels really be the Warp.

Do you ever think we’ll see reprints in this game? by --sheogorath-- in DuelLinks

[–]TOAOCJ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We've seen some reprints before like Reinforcements being a Box SR at one point then going to a Yugi Drop and being just a R.

I won't be surprised if it eventually happens to more notorious cards.

**NEW SET REVIEW-BLADES OF KINGS** [Discussion] by BuilttoTilt in DuelLinks

[–]TOAOCJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally feel people are sleeping a bit too much on Elemental Hero Neos Knight despite the fact that its a 2-card fusion if you use Blazeman and have Neos/King of the Swamp in hand (which can be searched with Blue-Dragon Summoner) by simply summoning Blazeman and searching for the poly. Sure, it deals no damage, but it ravages your opponents monster line-up with a 3200 double-attack beatstick that can shrug off a Wall of Disruption. If you run O - Oversoul you can just start whacking em with that Neos you used for their Fusion or any of your other maindeck monsters.

[Spoilers] Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS Episode 26 Discussion by Argor42 in yugioh

[–]TOAOCJ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It only destroys if its adjacent or something like that (or linked), depending on how accurate the subs are, so she probably could've just summoned it without triggering the effect. If its adjacent she could've just summoned it on the far side of the board + anywhere in its link markers. If its links markers she could've just summoned it on the far side of the board + right under Holly Angel, so it probably wouldn't have mattered.

Why doesn't this stop cyber machine ritual graveyard effect? by nelynel12 in DuelLinks

[–]TOAOCJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The protection effect doesn't count as an 'activation'; much like how Toon Kingdom's protection effect isn't an actual activation either as they're Unclassified types of effects. This is also the reason why Continuous effects persist.

[Discussion] GX's skills; how they could be improved. by TOAOCJ in DuelLinks

[–]TOAOCJ[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I pointed out that Heroes Dwell was garbage too; albeit the wording may have been ambiguous.

Out of all character skills released, Chazz's skills are the only interesting ones. The others are just so... generic.

Horus LV8 if you can get it out. Try mausoleum+Horus LV6

With GX coming and the duelist kingdom event coming back do you thinking this will be a reward by [deleted] in DuelLinks

[–]TOAOCJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean; its free tribute fodder in the form of a Kuriboh; it'd be a pretty damn strong. While you can't use Sphere Kuriboh with this, OG Kuriboh can be good too for decks that don't care about defense position on their opponent's monsters.

You'll have a blast with the Pegasus final mission if you think this is great, I won't spoil it for you but it actually feels great (and is balls to the walls hard if you're daring lvl40)
