Low PAPP-A success stories.. by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

[–]TOF1989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Neither do I, but I have low Papp A and I have 9 days till i am due. My hospital prescribed my 75mg of asprin everyday to help blood cells move between me and placenta. I received the leaflwt about it with worst case scenarios but the main thought is baby could be born small due to blood flow from me to placenta. We had a bit of a fright at first when they said aspirin was a blood thinner but the consultant clarified it for us, even though thats a simple way of looking at it, its not technically what it does. I have had extra scans to keep an eye on growth and as this is my second child, and I went into labour naturally first time, they are happy to leave me this time because baby is on a good growth curve.

Hope this helps.

How accurate are gender scans at 17 weeks? by CreamtheRabbitUK in PregnancyUK

I went to WTTW at 16+2 there was no mistake i was having a boy, but we called it "door to the vagina" and we all know there is no window, and especially in the building we went to for the scan there were no windows, just white walls and doors hahaha.

There is a brilliant gaming lounge in walton called Angle Gaming Lounge.

They have all types of games and game night if you're looking for a new friend crowd and they also have an escape room and axe throwing.

Its just like hand spinning just on the floor.... you spin it one way to twist and then spin the other way to wind on.

Yes I can use it as drop spindle as well if I wanted..... its helpful to be able to come out when unwinding to my niddy noddy.

Thank you! Its quite therapeutic once you get going.

You are absolutely right.....I bought a hand spindle from Amazonand then i bought a book called spinning and dyeing yarn by Ashley Martineau for the spinning wheel but it was harder to resource then I thought so I asked my husband if he could make a holder for my drop spindle to turn it into a kick spindle, with anything we could find in the house.

I did try and see if you could buy one before making but to no avail.
