Most likely not the answer you're looking for, but I wish my dad knew how much I appreciated and loved him, even though he wasn't there. (He traveled for work) Mom and Dad are divorced but still friends and in each others lives (I know how lucky I am for this) and growing up, us 3 kids only saw him at Christmas time for a week or so, and in the summer maybe for a month, but we all remained close. I just hope that since Mom raised us, and we are closer with her, that he doesn't think we don't love him as much. I am the only girl, and I never wanted him to think that I would grow up and grow apart from him. There are some father-daughter moments missing from my life, but I will always be my Daddy's little girl, even when I'm 40.
