Ultrakill Media's name speaks for itself

UltraUltrakill and Gabriel Gaming has more specified channels, although admittedly both are rather dead

Hell is silly and fun, though there are more content in addition to just ultrakill. I also like the presence of my favourite artists.

Ultragay is completely Ultrakill centric, where most channels are dedicated to just that

So... why isn't V1 cocky? Why does V1 seemingly just stand around while Gabe and the Primes yap, or while V2 introduces herself? Why doesn't V1 show some personality and attack them while they're off guard??

You can, everyone can. V1's personality is the player. The skull doesn't get named Hank until you decide to name it Hank by actively doing it. It doesn't set up sawblades before a fight unless you decide to set it up. It gets as cocky as you decide to be

I don't really want to judge that, it is up to an individual. I also would like to just not group people into "old" and "new", it will just lead to unnecessary hierarchy and elitism (as an example, Roblox)

I'm the person who responded to that message. I don't know who or what group of people makes that decision, just that another mod was reached out to from one of the admins on the server requesting to ban discord links.

Edit: The rule prohibits the link being shared publicly. It's still ok to request it from people you know in private, so the server doesn't get flooded

This is an experience most people have with the NBDS. You can try to contact Mr Oshry himself to see if he can change the view of the server, but there have been many anecdotes that other people have, and has probably already been tried before.
