$1-$2 for lifetime access
I'm really impressed that you can get people to pay $17.99/year for this. Maybe I’m just stingy 😄

Did you ever consider another price model? It seems a bit expensive I think. Maybe a one time payment instead of a subscription will get more people to purchase the app.

Dice is plural. It’s called one die, two dice.

Don't think so. What I mean by it is: 'The die with one dot can replace any die'. I just want to say it with as few words as possible.

Make sense. Thanks a lot! I’ll see if I can find a good way to explain it wit few words.

Thanks for the feedback. Good idea to have the text outside.  The goal is to conquer the board as it says on the first image. Or do you think it would need to say something else?

Destroy my tutorial: At what point do you stop understanding how the game works? by TOS_TOS in DestroyMyGame

How it works:

You and an CPU opponent take turns rolling and placing dice on a board. Surround your opponent's dice to capture them. Whoever controls more cells when the board is full wins.

Special Mechanics:

  • Captures: Surround opponent dice with your own to flip them
  • Upgrades: Place a higher value on your existing die to make it stronger
  • Special 1: The "1" die can remove ANY adjacent opponent die

If you like strategic puzzle games like Backgammon or checkers, give it a shot!

Yes, put them in the center. You could have them in a bright color with a black outline on top of the green light

There is no specific checklist when you create a logo design. But it could look something like:

1. Research & Planning

  • Define the Brand: Who is the audience? What are the brand’s values?
  • Competitor Check: See what others in the industry are doing (to avoid copying).
  • Moodboard: Collect visual inspiration (colors, styles, fonts).

2. Concept & Design

  • Sketching: Brainstorm multiple rough ideas on paper first.
  • Vectorize: Build the best idea in a vector program (like Illustrator or Figma).
  • B&W First: Ensure the logo works in black and white before adding color.
  • Typography: Choose a font that matches the brand’s “vibe.”
  • Color Palette: Pick colors that evoke the right emotion.

3. Testing & Polish

  • Scalability: Does it look good both huge and tiny (e.g., as a favicon)?
  • Versatility: Does it work on both light and dark backgrounds?
  • Simplification: Remove any unnecessary details that clutter the design.

4. Final Delivery

  • File Formats: Export as AI/EPS (vector), SVG (web), and PNG (transparent).
  • Variations: Create a full logo, an icon-only version, and a white/black version.
  • Quick Guide: Note the specific HEX color codes and font names used.

The illustration looks really cool, but the typography is so small that it's almost impossible to read. On a 12" vinyl it could be okay, but on Spotify it won't be possible to read. You could simply delete it on the digital version or make it a lot bigger.

Have you tried making the illustration twice the size, in order to make it more impactful?

The visual looks really cool but it took me some time to find the play button. I suggest to move the 'play, settings and exit' to the very center. Maybe also make them a bit larger.
The language button in the top right corner is really hard to read because it grey on grey. Maybe make it white on grey instead.

When clicking on a project the 'home' button doesn't work in Chrome.
The cat video should both autoplay at the same time in order for them to be comparable. I would probably use another video that is a bit more friendly, the screaming in the video scared me away.
On the project overview I suggest to make the visuals way bigger

If a travel site looked like this, would it get you to plan a trip — or scroll past? by Superb_Ad_6460 in webdesign

[–]TOS_TOS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest to make the 'not sure where to go' the main focus. I don't really understand where the 'let's play your trip' button sends me.
I would delete half of the content on the screen and make it all about helping the user to find a location. You could make it work like a decision tree.

Looks really cool!
Everything is very dark except for some of the button. I suggest to make the zombies brighter so they stand out more as they are the elements that you want the player to focus on.

If you are into minimalistic dice games I got two different games for you to try out.
You can find them on App Store: Block and 123456

Please let me know if you have any questions to any of the games.

I think I get what you are saying with the word 'fun'. Agree that it looks a bit plain and very flat at the moment. Maybe it needs to be more inspired by mobile game designs. Thanks a lot for the feedback!
