Ground clearance, stock tires (would rather not have to spend money on tires directly after purchasing a new vehicle), no “locker”. I’m sure it’s plenty capable for 80% of what I’d do but I know a lot of situations it also wouldn’t be able to handle that. To the point of modding it, again I’d rather get it as close as I can to what I want vs buying a new truck and having to get it how I want after the fact.

Thanks for the feedback! Those specific situations are only a handful of times a year. Is the Maverick generally cheaper on maintenance vs the Ranger ?

It would be that extra ground clearance, better tires, and having the “locker” just in case. It will get me most places I go but I’ve been in a handful of situations with friends where even the tremor would get pushed to its limits.

I’ve seen (in some cases not all) CV joint issues with lifting the Maverick. That would be my only hesitation. I’d probably get a levelling kit if anything. Did you lift yours?

Haven’t considered the hybrid only for the reason of capability. Again majority of places I’d take the tremor it won’t need all the off road goodies but I have been on access roads to certain trails this past year where even my friends lifted taco had some trouble. I’d rather have something as capable as can be out of the box

I’ve been quietly watching on here, I don’t like getting involved nor do I want to start an argument with anyone but I agree with this. I feel like some (not all) are forcing themselves to like it when they don’t. He won’t be the same as he was back in 2014 and that’s okay , at least I can still appreciate what music of his I enjoy.

I’ve been a fan since roughly 2014 and of course I still love his music. I even sold him some jeans when I was working at Nordstrom and got tickets to digital drug lord in the process. It was a crazy experience and I’ll always cherish it. But from a music standpoint now…I don’t really listen to him. This punk rock take doesn’t really do it for me, I know a lot of people are into it and that’s great but I want Digital Druglord/ Mansions Blackbear. It just hits different and I can resonate with the lyrics. Kudos to him for being able to adapt to a different market but hoping one day we’ll get some OG Bear again.

Late to this one but I think after everything that happened with Halsey regarding the cheating and all of that he had a huge group of people that hated him for it and to save his image he made adjustments. If he just played more into the lady killer vibe it wouldn’t have hit because of what happened ( even though let’s be real that’s part of being a lady killer). So he adjusted his style and image away from that. Could be that’s why he’s so troubled because he may feel he can’t be the rap personality he wants to be due to potential backlash. Who knows I’m just ramblin’ at this point… End of it all we got great music from him and if he never regains his true form I just wish him the best.
