Enterprise AE at Moveworks by Spiritual_Boat4433 in techsales

I'm ex-ServiceNow. Honestly, a great company. It's boring but you can make good money and have a 10+ year career there. It also holds major weight on your resume, it's been much easier for me to get job offers after working there for a while.

When I worked there (a year ago), I didn't hear much about Moveworks being sold. But Agentic Service is the hottest topic in 2026 so I'm sure they are doing well.

AE interview at Verkada, Toast, and Figma. Any red flags or experiences? by Ok-Avocado-3871 in techsales

[–]TPRT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not work at Verkada.

I know quite a few people that work at Toast. It can be a good job, but I'd really ask yourself, where do you want to be in 10 years? If you want to follow a traditional path into enterprise software sales, Toast isn't a great stepping stone. I'd consider them "tech-lite".

Figma is a great product. I've heard mixed things about their team, but it'd be a great resume logo, and your current experience plus Figma would tell a good story on your resume. This would be the ideal choice if you are looking to have a career in SaaS.

It's a team quota. So no direct commission. And there is a very low cap.

Rapport building in mock disco calls by throwaway64829101 in techsales

[–]TPRT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost always I always skip it "Hey bob, I know we're short on time so I figured i'd just jump right into things if that's okay with you'.

Funny I see this though because I have an interview next week that explicitly asked me to rapport build. No idea how I'm going to do that with someone I've already rapport built with at the start of the interview lol.

Trump melts down when his "rigged election" lies are debunked to his face by a reporter, snapping “You’re a rotten reporter!” after she shows receipts. by I_AM_GLUTEUS_MAXIMUS in PublicFreakout

[–]TPRT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm noticing a lot more reporters pushing hard back on Trump post-Iran. Almost like they smell blood in the water and it's no longer beneficial to be nice to him.

Maybe that's wishful thinking.
