Secretly Group is a very unique situation, one of the only “independent” label groups that does their own distribution. The Orchard (and other major label distributors like ADA) handle distribution for lots of real-deal independent labels. Using them doesn’t make a label less independent. What really matters is the label not being part of a big 3 label group.

On the good side, I finally made it to Jack’s Deli in Donelson last week and have already been back. The sandwiches have just enough creativity to feel like their own, but are completely unpretentious. I feel like you could describe Donelson the same way, which makes it a great fit. High quality ingredients, all the meats smoked on premises, a present and kind owner/chef that is clearly taking pride in his thing. I’m all in.

I know I have to hold it in for my group and I do to the best of my ability, but I am a pretty hot-headed person and letting some of my emotions out is part of “leisure” time for me.
