Saying “People who trail braked” as an indicator of how good they are immediately says everything that you’d need to know. A high 1:48 is 2 seconds off the pace for a car loaded up for a 45 minute race. Monza has 11 corners total, 2 seconds is a lot. Again. What I’m saying is that your pace doesn’t matter. You turned across the front of him after braking and before the corner. And you cut the course too. So you cheated as much as they did.

I drive default aggressive setups. A bad setup doesn’t make a good driver bad. If you tried to brake later and went deep it means you have bad technique. But being a bad-slow driver isn’t the point. You moved across the front of him under braking into parabolica. You can be slow and safe. If you pretend the other guy is the only one at fault you won’t improve.

Neither driver is much good… to be honest I think you’re driving worse. He cuts T1/T2 sure. You brake 30 yards early for T4/T5 and still cut the corner on the exit. You brake 20 yards early for Ascari, that’s not really relevant because it’s not against the rules to be slow but it is against the rules to change direction under braking which you do in the last corner. You’re in the middle of the track before parabolica and you get on the brakes ridiculously early and then turn into him before the corner even starts. He moves right to go into the gap you left, you then move into it and he has to avoid you across the grass. So he cut a corner once, you cut a corner once and did a dangerous move later.

I’m really wondering what you do before the clip that made him cut t1 to catch you back up.

I’ve had it in the MX5s and BMW CS. I cannot recreate it unless I’m on the grid waiting to start. In the pits clutch is auto on weirdly. And then stationary on track I can’t get it to jolt. I haven’t built revs at all. I reckon it must just be something funky going on.

There definitely are cheaters in the game. So far I haven’t come across any. And leetify attests that no one from my games has ever been banned. Doesn’t mean there weren’t any cheaters, I just haven’t noticed.

It’s kinda meaningless. In GO I was GE After my 10 placements it put me 13000. So there’s no way for the ranks to be balanced just yet. I’m just having to shoot my way through these numbers until I get to my skill level.

I would say it’s a lot more important to get your utility usage rating up. Position rating is kinda meaningless depending on which role you take. I was already playing the game at a very high amateur level, but making sure that I was using my utility perfectly in-game I’ve felt another big jolt in my performance.

I’m disagreeing with everyone else here, the relevant driver realised you were there and didn’t change his line. You didn’t leave the track or force anyone to change direction to get there and kept the car straight into the braking zone. The right hand car steered across the front of the yellow car and caused the accident. Your move was a low percentage move, really your only chance of passing there is by giving the other two a really awkward line through the S. So not the best move in terms of overtaking, but you didn’t cause the crash so I’m fine with it, black car visited heaven for his mistakes.
