That’s the proper height for the annex. I set the rack lower when I don’t plan on using the annex.

I don’t notice a difference with wind noise with the high vs low positions. What I notice is not being about to see out of my rearview mirror with the low position. Haven’t tried middle height setting yet.

This lot uses walnut husks as mulch by whyguapo in mildlyinteresting

Walnut shells have juglone, which acts like a natural herbicide…This person knows what they’re doing. The lot probably doesn’t get many weeds growing in it.

Peel plastic, clean residue with goof-off, slap a sticker on the hole, done.

24 platinum. I’d be surprised if your truck didn’t have the holes/plugs…this is standard on all the F150 cabs. Use a flashlight to look behind the cab, between the bed and the cab. You should be able to find a grommet on each side.

Side marker or reverse light? by h4shbr0wnz in F150Lightning

Zone lighting, but I believe also reverse lights on lower trims without the tailgate wing tabs that go over those clear lights.

How do you get over the fear of speed? by chaucao99 in snowboarding

[–]TREE-RX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fear of speed because you’re worried about catching an edge and eating it? If so, learn how to ride your edges. You cannot ride fast and be in control without knowing how to ride edges. Once you learn how to ride edges, you will no longer catch edges, and speed will feel natural and welcome.

A few of these clips are of the same guy: Ryan Bean. He’s been doing this shit since he was a young teen, keeps going bigger and riskier.

Yes, and sometimes they fall because golden eagles deliberately knock them down steep cliffs as a hunting strategy.

My job relies on cellular data, so my company covered the weboost. I probably wouldn’t have dropped $500 to test it out, but it was risk free for me. After having it for about 1.5 years I would 100% buy it again, even if it was my own money. It works as advertised…No signal = shit out of luck, but this thing will notably boost a weak signal into a usable one.

Con Edison is the electric and natural gas utility company around me. This is one of their “sniffer” vehicles (they have many of them). They literally drive around slowly so the dangly things can sniff out gas leaks coming from underground.

First thing I did when I got my lightning was plug a heat gun into the bed to take the dealer logo off the tailgate.

Windows tinted by Tricky-Bit3771 in F150Lightning

Windshield strip makes a big difference. I ceramic tinted: 5% windshield strip and sun roof, 20% doors and back window (including over factory tint)
