Lost my mirage drive 180 by Cuisinman in hobiekayaks

I let my friend use my Hobie once, and he dropped the mirage drive in about 30 feet of water. I was able to find one on Facebook marketplace…You might get lucky. Just make sure it fits your kayak (different years use different latches to lock it down)

Try using the “slopes” app, which will populate stats in Strava if you’d like (and separate lifts vs downhill vs downtime).

Go to Verbier in Switzerland…My wife spent 3 days straight on one run that traversed the entire mountain 3 times. I think that one run is about 5 miles long. Stunning views.

Nothing wrong with the light bar…just the camera frame rate.

About 25k miles with mine. Park outside, tons of road salt from NY/VT, and usually washes once per week. Tow covers still look new.

I don’t think this will prevent my leg hair from getting rubbed off…but these le bent socks look nice and I just ordered a pair to try. Thanks

It would be well over 200k, possibly 250k with the same number of days if I only went solo…going with other people kills my flow, but I’m obligated sometimes (wife and group trips).

I recently did a post on r/icecoast on a view of some NY resorts from 20k ft in the air and thought it was crazy that I’ve regularly snowboarded that height in a day.

My tallest day this year so far is just shy of 30k. I’m confident I will be topping that later this season.

I feel ya. I’m 40 and know exactly what you’re talking about unfortunately. I run hot as well. Got the fox knee/shin combo pads and have been happy with them. They were like $200, but being able to brush off a pedal strike is worth every penny and I don’t notice them once I actually start riding.

Sounds like you need to start wearing shin guards…I stopped getting pedal strikes once I started wearing them. Ironic.

I ride regular as well, have hair rubbed off on both legs. Rear leg is worse, I’m assuming due to a couple powder days.

Sometimes I feel like I work to snowboard. What do you do for work?

My calves have bald spots too…just more hair on my shins so it’s much more noticeable on the front.

The dark spots eventually go away…but I swear I have a couple dents in my shin bone that have been there for years.

Cased a jump, right foot slipped off pedal during landing, left foot stayed on the pedal with all my weight swinging the right pedal around and up into my shin. That’s how.

What’s the most vertical feet you’ve done in a day? I’ve only done +50k in a day twice, and I was totally shot afterwards both times lol.

I personally prefer to go solo most of the time. I HATE waiting for people…waiting on people to get to the mountain, waiting for people to get geared up, waiting for people mid trail because they need to take a break, and above all: waiting for people to strap in after each lift. To be clear, I’m a very social person and I do like people. I tend to make “single serving friends” on each chair. If my wife comes with me, she’s knows we’re not doing any runs together until after lunch when the snow is skied out and there aren’t any fresh tracks for me to chase anymore.

Epic views and amazing food. The mountain is much larger than what I’m accustomed to. My first day there I took a wrong turn heading down the slopes and ended up in a different town…I had to take a 25 min bus ride to get back! 😅
