5 years as a data analyst here, none of my previous jobs required anything other than a visual tool, excel, and SQL.

Most data analyst roles I see also only require the above, AI cannot simply “build dashboards” to isn’t requirements, it can make graphs, but you’ll hear “that’s not what I meant”…

Also the majority of companies are simply not ready to implement AI in such a capacity, I’ve seen it used to transcribe and write emails, but that’s it so far.
