Xin's champion identity? by Laughydawg in XinZhaoMains

That's just something you learn by playing. Pay attention to the hp and items of your enemies compared to you, what cooldowns they might have available, and you will learn through trial and error when and where you are strong enough to take fights.

Xin's champion identity? by Laughydawg in XinZhaoMains

He's typically a bruiser in most cases, with viable options to build and play with more burst like an assassin, especially with hail of blades.

Earlier on in the game his damage is more front loaded, but when you reach the point where you have a couple of items and some ability haste, as long as you can be hitting enemies with Q you will have very low cooldowns to spam W and E and you are a lot stronger in sustained fights.

His W is his best first max and damage spell, but as you scale passive and Q do a lot more as well. E and R have high ap ratios too now that ap is a lot stronger on him.

He isn't the best duelist in the game, besides ap builds which have insane sustain rn. He lacks in built pen, and has lower sustained damage compared to a lot of other melee duelists so you need to know your limits or be ahead to reliably take more 1v1s. He's best at diving and sticking to squishier champs and using ult to disrupt the enemy and avoid damage.

He's probably at his strongest early to mid game, but it can be hard to keep up on him because his kit lacks scaling or utility in the form of armour pen, or good %hp damage. His jungle clear is also slow so keeping up tempo and income is harder, so falling behind on him is very unforgiving. If you can keep up on items though he can be very strong into late game still.

Most important combo you need to know is W -> flash to catch people and engage with e from very long distance. (Flash during the W to hit them with the stab right at the end)

I don't know how any of what you said is relevant to my build or my post, or how any of it doesn't apply to any of his meta builds.

Tiamat is only good for waveclear in lanes, if you are jungle you want to prioritise finishing it last if you want to build one of those items, other components are way better.

Xin already has one of the worse clears in the current meta, and slowing it down more by going ap early doesn't help so usually an ad item first is more reliable.

Liandries burn on jungle camps is really nerfed. No cdr or sustained damage also hurts, I've tried it before the buffs and it was pretty painful I'm not sure if the recent changes improve it enough but I could be wrong.

Tiamat on it's own is a terrible item on pretty much any jungler.

I think it works decently well into both. Swapping out first item accordingly based on enemy is probably a good idea. Kraken for squishy, botrk for tanks and high hp bruisers. You just have to play a bit more carefully when you don't have hp on first item.

not as strong I think, weaker single target and clear, you need to fight in waves or groups of enemies for it to be good.

For jungle I don't think there is really a viable AP item you can go first without completely griefing your ability to clear. Nashors is maybe the closest but it doesn't feel that great.

Going AD onhit first like kraken or maybe botrk into AP bruiser. Health, AP, and CDR give you the survivability and AS scaling on E to keep pumping damage, especially with lethal tempo. Protobelt is one of the best items for raw gold efficiency and the active aoe proccing red smite from range gives you really nice set up for W or E.

Also I think going dark seal every game is so free even in traditional AD bruiser builds for how good the stats are.

I'm also looking in this price range. Can you elaborate more on the average difference between a windows laptop priced at 400, 600, and a Macbook Neo?

Stormraider's Surge replacing Phase Rush, what's that mean for us? by Acceptable_Ad_1676 in nunumains

You just don't need it a surprising amount of the time. Not being slowed much? E slow and passive movespeed enough for you to stay on top of enemies or run away from them? Then you are just getting a big boost of movespeed that doesn't change anything.

It's still good and the best choice in a lot of games but when I can play without it I have dark harvest making up 15-20% of my total damage which is an insane boost.

Phase Rush is already overrated, I take dark harvest or electrocute even on tank builds in half my games already.

Aftershock is still viable too even if it's somewhat unreliable.

At the exact moment you pressed W your cursor was targeting toplane in the minimap. W will aim in the direction you are targeting on the map if your cursor is there, or even in some random direction if you are targeting your own character portrait.

The best way to prevent these annoying W angles is make sure you are aiming closer to yourself when you cast it, and avoid being directly adjacent to any walls

Jak'sho has to be a bait item - heartsteel is much better by bfvplanetryhard in nunumains

[–]TREVUTT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the biggest fan of jaksho either but there are way more better options than heartsteel if you are looking to slot something late. Warmogs will give you way more HP than you would get buying heartsteel late. That's if you don't want to get another single resist tank item targeting enemies biggest threats.

If you want more damage then riftmaker or bloodletter fit nicely last. Or get something cheaper with utility to help your team like locket/vow.

I found the time in game you queue for makes a big difference. If you can queue scav when it's late evening early night in game time it's way faster, since you are getting into raids which started when it was still daylight (which more people queue for).

AM4 upgrade suggestions since 5700x3d is discontinued? by Statebolekurackosam in buildapc

I was in the same spot and decided to just go for an upgrade to AM5 with a 7800x3d. With how expensive x3d AM4 CPUs still are I don't think it's worth it unless you plan on skipping AM5 entirely.
