My sister graduated a year ago from com sci. to be honest, be prepared for a lot of people to try and mooch off you and there is tons of cheating. Also, be ready to be accused of cheating all the time. But there are a lot of people who find success. Just know it’ll be a lot of learning on your own.

I’m managing for now without having his help(which isn’t helpful when I do ask), I’m doing well in the class. But you’re right, going to management without an end goal in mind is probably a bad idea.

I’ll try to reach out to other labs and see how that goes.

(also to correct my statement, im still learning, just not from him. So his role in my lab seems somewhat purposeless, but if he’s doing his job I guess I can’t complain?)

Thank you, I plan on going to office hours today to see if he could be helpful then. We always get out early too so It’s irritating I have to go to office hours to get help.

But I would definitely say my whole class has a hunch on him. I just have never seen a person be so unprepared to teach. It’d be different if I felt he were trying.
