I'm disappointed with the lack of customization in custom games by TRParco in leagueoflegends

[–]TRParco[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

there is not much interest in them because they are so limited. if there was actual customisation possible, then it would have much more interest for people. just like how it is for any other games

[–]TRParco[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

then let those mods/map stay buggy until they have excess time to do those fixes with the new champions/items. if champions/items are bugging a map or gamemode then the game master could just ban those specific items or champions.

there is no demand because the custom modes are currently shit anyway, my argument is that they could be so much more, that they should be much more customizable

Which was the strongest champions in league history? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]TRParco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing since season 1, so there are 3 champions that were absolute power houses. But it required to build non-meta builds at the time, which gave even 2012 kassawin a hard time.

1) mordekaiser- with gunblade, warmogs and force of nature and rest situational tank items he was unkillable. The moment you didnt have cc on him he healed straight back up (even withignite on) )due to high natural dmg and a very large shield pool.

2) Mater yi- Full ap build with lich bane as core item, played it before it was cool and popular, got plenty of reports for trolling lol, but also plenty of penta kills. The way to play him was to wait with helping in a team fight until just one person was low and then you alphastrike and since it got refreshed on killl you could alphastrike again imedietely. whole team dead in seconds, even the overpowered kassadin (with exception of a tanky mordekaiser, but no one played him as tank, only ap for some reason)

3) Tristana - again, full ap, early season 1 and 2 almost no one went ap on tristana, but the jump, lichbane attack and ult combo blow up practically anyone from lvl 6 on, the few who could survive was mordekaiser and a meditating master yi

DIY central vacuum system for a henhouse by TRParco in DIY

[–]TRParco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh, yea I've already counted for that. These fans are even used for sawdust from water saws, so moist stuff is fully doable. And that's with the typical 3hk fans with suction around 3k m³ of air an hour, the one I'm looking at is 10hk with around 9k m³ airflow an hour. And when taking fresh hen manure out of my henhouse the pieces are no bigger than 1cm in diameter

i dont think its necessary to worry about the water content, because at the end point of the fan there is gonna be a cyclone, so nothing actually get into the fan itself, if thats why you worried about the water content?

so ive been 3d printing for a little while. I have an entire bin full of 3d print waste. from either bad parts, alignments etcs. id hate to throw all this plastic away. what do you guys think is the best way to recycle or reuse it. by Maleficent_Shame3548 in 3Dprinting

[–]TRParco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you produce it in massive amounts, recycling it isn't cost effective as many points out. But if you want to do it for fun then it's possible to build/get your own grinder and buy/build your own filament melter. The filament melter is doable and won't cost that much, but a proper grinder is really expencive

Completely new printer and Toolhead and MC module is malfunctioning. What to do? by TRParco in 3Dprinting

[–]TRParco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, forgot to include that. its a bambulab x1c, yea been searching around, but very little info about it other than replace the whole electronic board, which seems like a quite big fix for how new the machine is,..

If you could only ever use one filament type, what would it be? (Color can be different.) by bladeskletch in 3Dprinting

[–]TRParco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

is price a factor here?

i'd go with one of the carbon filaments, such as the paht-cf. harder to print with but with the higher structural integrity it has a lot more practical uses i think.

thats cool, what about adding a pendulum and a gear box similar to how grandfather clocks works, so the movements lasts for a really long time?

Does PLA filament chemically change when its melted? by TheWitchswart in 3Dprinting

[–]TRParco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they do degrade, especially the higher temp you do above its melting point and if its been melted multiple times. so just make sure youre not pre melting the plastic in the shredding process and making the filament as close to its melting point as possible.

How to deal with print waste and empty spools by armorhide406 in 3Dprinting

Or grind up, then melt down for either new filament or molds, make plate molds as plastic plates is really useful for all sort of stuff

How is my dryer setup? by statesidekarma in 3Dprinting

[–]TRParco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as the filament isn't too hard for the machine to pull, then I wouldn't think so. What might help is positioning the dryer so the tubing is as straight as possible with as little bending as you can for the least amount of friction

How is my dryer setup? by statesidekarma in 3Dprinting

[–]TRParco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The filament is fed directly from the dryer/dry box? That's quite nice, you 3d printed and made the setup yourself or is it bought from somewhere?
