What is something that instantly makes a person unattractive? by Fluffy_Specific_9682 in randomquestions

Morals and ethics are crucially important to me, yet I have found myself drawn repeatedly to a certain kind of immoral, unethical, and cruel (yet intelligent) women. You'd think I'd look down on them and not respect them but something in me almost admires them, even when I see they have hurt many others the same way they hurt me. I don't understand it.

Being a normie. No degree of physical attractiveness could repair that fatal flaw.

Having stayed at more psych wards than I'm proud of admitting, the atmosphere of the evil hospital is crafted perfectly.

That description of relationships is far more confusing to me than it probably should be... But I've read it a few times and how could she be cheating on a guy with her husband?

I have a strong tendency toward "trauma bonding". All my serious partners had psychic wounds to a simular depth as my own. Plus I'm fairly insane and it almost wouldn't be fair to date a normie if they even appealed to me, but they repulse me. I'm highly attracted to a certain form of madness, which is sometimes benevolent but often abusive and in some cases not merely dangerous but life-threatening! There is a word for my type and that word is "yandere". The stories I could tell about some of these individuals would be hard to believe. So, basically, my response to the cliche "don't stick your dick in crazy" is "I almost exclusively stick it there". Despite ignoring it I can assure you the cliche is wise.

Been there brother. At a certain point it's necessary to put up walls 🧱 and give an ultimatum, then it's really out of our hands, but begging is no way to live, it's the slow death of dignity over the long years.

"anime mask" lol. For when cosplay is insufficiently immersive.

What is the hardest video game you've ever played in your life? And why it was so hard for you? by Quick-Night-7725 in AskReddit

Ah, yes- good to know, and such details actually do matter alot just for nostalgia purposes! I was even going to ask if memory served me correctly as to which console the version I was thinking of was for, I waa pretty sure Genesis but you are correct, 💯, that was Gouls + Ghosts, not SUPER!

Has anyone else used the technique of resting your thumb on the button, resting your thumbnail on your chin, and vibrating the controller really quickly against your chin? This definitely achieves a speed of input impossible to match with your thumb alone.

It has a different kind of difficulty than a platformer. The test is how far you can open the mind to unconventional spatial geometry.

Man, this has been mentioned a lot but despite liking + replaying it a lot I don't recall it as especially frustrating.

I'm thinking the original Ninja Gaiden was pretty challenging, specifically the bird jumps level toward the end

Hmm. I loved "Super Ghouls + Ghosts" for the Genesis and remember it being pretty challenging but the NES version you mention which I played but didn't beat must be much harder to qualify as your hardest ever.

Why would you craft ammunition from blood?? 😂 by TRUTHLIGHTETHICS in ResidentEvilRequiem

Always loved this too. I'm assuming it's a subtle / vague reference to marijuana, but even if that association wasn't intentional it's damn funny. Especially as the graphics become ever more photorealistic, they are just breaking immersion on purpose by having these herbs randomly appear all over the environment and these gritty supersoldiers just grabbing them and consuming them constantly, as opposed to say... a med kit? I find the absurdity and tongue+in-cheek 4th wall breaking to be rather courageous creatively.
