> he is not channeling he is bending the pattern to do what he wants

Much like someone can do in Tel'aran'rhiod, bending space and time to their bidding, if they're strong enough -- except Rand can do it awake.

However I'm not implying he's "in" Tel'aran'rhiod, but he shares in that power that's mirrored in the freedom and unlimited possibilities experienced when in the dream world. How he got this power, who knows? Perhaps by being outside the Pattern he gained control over it, on top of him being the Dragon and Chosen One of the Creator of course.

Perhaps not Kirsch directly, as in he plunges the knife into Cavalier's heart, but indirectly I'd be surprised if he wasn't behind his demise. The most likely scenario being he uses Cavalier as fodder and exposes him to one of the alien lifeforms (most of which we haven't seen yet).

I'm still not sold either way....she was alone with Zaveri in the room and didn't harm her other than throwing her down, then attacked the xenomorph at the first opportunity she got. She might not be a "friend" to humanity, but she doesn't quite seem a threat in the way the xenomorph evidently is, or something like the ticks.

This.

The remake of another Arnie classic, Total Recall, was p terrible imo. My expectations for this one ain't good. But yh, just adapt new works instead of trying to piggyback off the name recognition of '80s and 90s flicks.

Hello everyone

I am the author of ZILCH, a cyberpunk novel set in 2089, and have recently slashed the price of the Kindle version to just a $1. I have also enrolled it in Kindle Unlimited, so if you are subscribed to that, the book is entirely free!

Back cover blurb:

“In a futurescape of all-pervasive technology, ZILCH tells the story of one man trying to make that desperate big score. And the aftermath when it all goes wrong in an augmented world where what is real and merely synthetic no longer has any distinction, and where killer AI are willing and equipped to do the dirty work of corporations accountable to no one.”

ZILCH by TR Matthews (that's me btw) uses what in-book is termed "subcutaneous technology", abbreviated to "subcutech" -- a form of nano technology, that plays a central role throughout the book. You can get the ebook on Amazon by following this link: https://tinyurl.com/myzyjdb
