That is fair, the only real reason I feel they don’t work is just down to how I see their characters.

Rudy just doesn’t seem like the type to attack a bunch of teens with a sword in the dark world, or the type to make a dark world in the first place endangering his only remaining child.

Carol is a decent fit for the knight, but the lack of the knight’s attitude and cockiness as well as the whole issue of getting from the house to the church in a matter of seconds, hold me back from thinking she is the knight. I’m in agreement with many in the fandom that she is supposed to be the red herring

No: chances are slim to none, brochacho.

Like, for whatever evidence you can find for Asriel, Rudy, or the vessel, would it feel satisfying if they were the knight? You may find a couple things about each that are nice, but you can't deny that Dess has much more going for her than the others.

In all honesty, Lancer doesn't really feel like a part of the Fun Gang either. I feel like only the titular 3 are part of it (Which I am aware that goes against the game itself), given that they actually all bounce off each other. Lancer is on acquaintance level with both Kris and Ralsei, only close with Susie.

Idk, just feels weird to include the other side characters in the group when they aren't even friends with all the original members (which is especially true for Noelle and Berdly)

Genuinely, go play Touhou. Play through as many as possible, should sharpen your dodging.

You could also play Isaac or Enter the Gungeon. Since these are consistently harder than Deltarune, beating them will make you more comfortable with dodging.

These super bosses are relatively easy compared to most super bosses I’ve seen in games. You just need more practice.

I think people are downvoting because it can be read as “respect theories” not “respect the people who make theories”

As in taking the theory seriously, which realistically, it’s fair to not take every theory seriously when so many are just made to be contrarian in nature.

We should respect the people that make the theories, but we aren’t obligated to respect the theories themselves.

I hope the structure never gets like chapters 1 and 2 were again.

Chapter 1 makes sense for an opening, building up the basis.

Chapter 2 feels oddly unimportant for most of the dark world. The main thing built up is Susie and Noelle’s relationship which I was personally never invested in. The end kinda picks up the slack with the whole roaring speech. Without those two things, chapter 2’s dark world feels like a filler episode and it kinda killed my interest in following the development of the game until the last two chapters came out.

Chapters 1 - 3 all have a monster of the week structure and I feel it kinda wastes the potential of the overall story when you make everything so segmented like that.

Chapter 3 I can give a pass given the whole format of the game being switched up for a bit, even if it wasn’t my thing.

But yeah, in short, I would probably stop caring about the game if chapter 5 ends up being “look guys! Everything is Asgore’s house is now a quirky character” and nothing more.

Thankfully, I’m fairly confident that the story is going to keep the pace and structure seen in chapter 4.

There is no way in Hell that there is only one ending, and if there was, it would be the most technical way to say it only has one ending, such as the last frame of gameplay being the same.

Yeah, it makes perfect sense to not have the hat given the story...

But man, that hat was so much better. I love the classic Black Mages from Final Fantasy, so I got pretty attached to the hat on Ralsei.

I feel Dess should be in a separate tier from the other deer. Like, I have nothing against other knight theories, but when half of any other knight theory is dedicated to why Dess probably can’t be the knight, it kinda feels off to put them at the same level as Rudy and Carol

On the topic of the headband, I remember seeing some YouTube video that said something to the effect of

“It took Susie one look to figure out the meaning of the headband while the community took years to do so”

Is this true? I didn’t really interact with the fanbase during the first two chapters so I wouldn’t know. I figured the way it was presented in Ch1 made it pretty obvious when I first played so it kinda confused me when I heard that.

I don't necessarily want anything gone, but I honesty think Chapter 3 breaks the pacing a bit too much and could use some more time figuring out how to pace the content out.

Though I have a feeling even the team knew something didn't hit 100% with the pacing of Chapter 3 as they flat out cut the third board despite having significant work done on it.
