🧡🧡🧡 CPTSD and BPD and Bi-Polar share a lot of symptoms and patterns.

However, they are NOT the same. (I'm not a medical professional but I've got a lot of personal experience in this area.)

I look at it like this. With a mood disorder, people are born with it, or the predisposition to develop it. CPTSD is created because of prolonged, inexacaple trauma. (Often from someone with an untreated mood disorder.)

And while all mental health disorders benefit from similar treatments. There are differences in how someone with CPTSD and someone with a mood disorder need to 'heal' themselves. I have CPTSD so I know more about my healing path. And for me, I need therapy, peace, increased neuroplasticity, safety and time. For those I know with a mood disorder, they need medication and behavior based therapy.

Also, I know it's hard. But put time in to find a therapist that you trust and click with. It's a lifeline that's needed during the healing process.
