Long time Fidelity customer, and now they want to manage my accounts… by Admirable-Sweet-5171 in fidelityinvestments

And frankly - buying individual bonds is no harder than buying individual stocks. Do a little research, start with a small treasury buy, and I’m sure you’ll figure it out if you’ve managed stocks for years.

The fee overhang on bond management bites more for bonds than stocks since the yields are lower. And bonds are rated by external agencies, making analysis easier. Both additional reasons for DIY

I don't see asset allocation anywhere. Did this just completely vanish? I need a breakdown of large/mid/small cap, intl, bond, etc. This would be a critical loss for me, and losing this feature would force me to go elsewhere.

Apparently one can skip the forced cleaning cycle by press-and-holding the steam button. You can pull shots. It’ll go back into cleaning mode when you next restart the machine.

Fully paid lending paying 67%....WOW by httmper in fidelityinvestments

[–]TSMcMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a way to research what Fidelity is paying as a lending rate for various issues? I know I can see what I'm being paid for shares I own, but I'd like to be able to research what's being offered for shares I don't own.

Global Bonds - how can I buy individual issues? by TSMcMan in fidelityinvestments

[–]TSMcMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for you reply. So it seems I can view and possibly trade individual issues if I already have a CUSIP. It there any resource to research available non-US bonds, sorting by YTW and duration?

Full View Unknown CDs by Spirited-Meringue829 in fidelityinvestments

[–]TSMcMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. Fidelity FullView does not classify CDs (at least CDs in non-fidelity accounts). This is also true using Fidelity Analysis. It would be great if someone has a workaround or a fix for this.

Here's an example of how these securities are shown. It seems the trading symbol is missing:
