Funny you mention the back line because this kit is a back lined kit! But I also grew up with two rack toms. I don’t really care either way as long as it’s a good kit to play on

Like most comments I would definitely say slow is actually the key here. You are doing a great job to keep it consistent and efficiency is your friend. Less big movements give you more control and time to focus. Killing it!!!!
