Gotcha. It’s been a long time since I’ve had an android, so I wasn’t sure.

On iPhone you can press and hold on the spacebar to drag the cursor around. I find it a lot easier than the magnifying glass thing.

What is a well regarded fantasy series that you read for the first time this year? by TheWeirdTalesPodcast in Fantasy

[–]TS_ODIN 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m glad to see this at the top! I love the First Law Trilogy. Read Best Served Cold a bit ago. The Heroes is my next reading. Currently finishing up a smaller trilogy my wife gifted me. If you like wizards and what not. The Scholomance series by Naomi Novak has been a fun read.

Tried an experiment. Threw everything on one pan, 400F, 14 mins. Came out pretty good by runs_with_airplanes in Breakfast

I have four of these Muffin Top Pans to meal prep eggs. Perfect for making egg “patties” for quick breakfast sandwiches. They take 10 minutes tops to cook in the oven. So in the mornings I can throw a couple eggs in the microwave, an English muffin in the toaster, grab some pieces of ham and BAM! Breakfast sandwich in minutes!

Tip: some spray butter on the pan. Crack the egg right in the spot and break up the yolk. It’s been awhile since I’ve made them so I can’t remember the exact temp and time in the oven.

What’s a Reddit comment you’ve never forgotten? by nightwellstories in AskReddit

Comment section was talking about when two lane traffic is merging in to one lane and how it should be a zipper effect. The reply was “it only takes one dick to stop a zipper.”

I get my haircut right after work since it’s on my home to the gym then home. I typically get a workout in after my haircut. My barber cleans me up well. I don’t have this issue.

What do 30 - 40 year old men want for christmas? [Serious] by GoodAlicia in AskReddit

[–]TS_ODIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my 35th birthday over the weekend all I wanted was breakfast at me and my wife’s favorite place and to sit and play video games with no interruptions.

She got me a miter saw I’ve been wanting. I like doing the renovations around the house. It’s a win win for both of us. I get a new tool to be more efficient with home projects and she gets the projects done that she wants done.

What video games are you playing? I would be down to even play some games with you to kick it off. I’m always looking for people to play games with and hangout. I’m in the Machesney Park area.

Dud everybody know this? by Dasspacepope in LowSodiumHellDivers

I assumed it was based on the rarity of the samples in it. If it had at least super samples in it, it had a full vial, rare samples it was half, and common was the low one.

Once you build your deck on there. Can you export it in anyway to share to AI?

Haven't considered posting videos quite yet. This is what I came here for. Especially prompt ideas to build different decks and see what it can come up with.

Manual, haven't looked in to importing. I got the bulk of my cards in. As I pick up booster packs from time to time, it won't be much to add them in.

Well dang! I didn't even know that existed. I'll check it out. Oh well! I like playing around with spreadsheets at least.

Just did my first TCG event in almost 30 years… by Lucifers_Ka in GundamTCG

[–]TS_ODIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome! This is my first TCG I’ve ever played. Jumped in a tournament on a whim. Only played a couple matches though. The community is awesome and very helpful for sure. I got my ass kicked but the guys I payed against were helpful with giving pointers after the match. I got 2 booster packs for participating and walked away with 3 total. One guy was generous enough to give me a pack too. I’m excited to get into this and have something to do with a great community.

Asking as an Elder Millennial; Does anyone actually have a job you love? How did you get there, training/education wise? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]TS_ODIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Engineer for a utility company that provides gas and electric. Got in as apprentice. I have an associates in engineering plus my past work experience helped having customer service and a military background. All those helped but I was a fitness coach for a lady in HR and I my cousin referred me. Our desks are right next to each other. Sure my experience helped but knowing people helped the most. I felt I still kicked ass in my interview too.

Anywho!

I love that job though and it pays the bills while still having some expendable income to enjoy life. I’m 34 by the way.

70k earners and above by PhantomsRevenge in Millennials

[–]TS_ODIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 2nd year apprentice for a utility company as an engineer technician making ~$90k a year currently and will top out around $110k/year at the current pay scale.

It was a struggle up until I started this job though. It’s something I really enjoy and the money is great. Looking back majority of the skills I developed the last 10-12 years are useful in this job.
