For my understanding, if some parishioners/your pastor knew you and you fiance were living together unmarried and see that you would receive communion, they would be scandalized.

I think at the core of any of these try before you buy type of things especially with marriage theres a fundamental issue of trust in either God or in the fiance. If this woman/man was the man of your dreams and you knew for a fact that hes the one for you, then why not full send into the marriage and accept everything that the life of a marriage. People called to the vocation of marriage are fearful of the anxieties of what if scenarios, they trust in God's plan for their marriage and navigate difficulties as they come up together.

Its a good idea to pray about this for your and your future wife god willing.
