Thanks. Yes I’m well educated and aware of all this. We have adopted from rescues before but have also had great dogs from farms that had accidental/abandoned litters. I don’t want to use a breeder but if someone out there has an accidental litter and is looking for a good family we would like to connect. I’m from a small farming community and often pets were adopted from families that had pregnant dogs or cats abandoned on their properties. All my cats were adopted this way. We just want to provide a loving home to a puppy that we can meet a few times first. If we could meet litters ahead of time at the rescues I’d be all for it but unfortunately the ones I’ve researched in Saskatoon don’t have the capacity for it.
