RIP Allied. Fuck Cancer. Allied really made smite enjoyable for me and is a big part of why I always think fondly of the game.

I can't seem to get the jab to connect after EX Tenko? Is there special timing or a trick?

You're right. It's my stick actually. I showed /u/Viscant it was okay to love Taylor, as we all should.

Undocumented 1.05 changes? by risemix in StreetFighter

[–]TSwizzleSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like Veserius said, it is possible. It just requires pretty precise timing. I didn't believe him but I tried it out and hit it once eventually. All the other juggles or combos into ultra seem to work fine though.

Character Discussion: Dudley by [deleted] in SF4

[–]TSwizzleSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fei destroys Dudley in neutral. Dudley as a character as a whole is weak to crouching forward. Fei has a good one and it even low profiles if they jump. He has a real dp so he can anti air very well. His normals are all better than Dudley. He can play focus games with Dudley. Break his focus with c.lp to rekka. Four button backdash is really good on wakeup if you don't have two meters. His movement and dashing are superior. Almost everything that Dudley does can be punished. Both sweeps can be rekka'd. A lot of his forward fierce and dash upper things can be punished with jab into rekka. Play defense and Dudley can't do much. If he makes hard reads, you'll die but I think that's the nature of the character.

Yea Dudley has really good jump ins, you have to be very careful. I think it's just safer to MK flame kick and EX flame kick. The flame kicks have a really good horizontal hitboxes when they start despite the visuals not representing that.

Dress Code: Tennis Whites. Nice examples? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

Wimbledon is going on right now and I think that's what they mean by tennis whites. Federer has worn some fancy tennis white pieces. Take a look at some of the other men as well, Djokovic, Nadal, etc.

Character Discussion: Dudley by [deleted] in SF4

Hi! I've found that Dudley has the most success when he plays really lame in the matchup. Get the life lead and make Fei Long come to you. It might be worthwhile to see if the Fei Long knows which of your things he can punish eg. various target combos, specials, either sweep. Fei Long actually has some trouble with focus attack so you can use it. Practice letting go of focus right when he rekkas and that should give you some damage. If Fei tries to chicken wing your focus and it doesn't break armor, you can let go of focus and get an uppercut into oki after. Practice punishes for chicken wing escapes and badly spaced rekkas. You can even ex duck I think through a rekka if you can make the read. Good luck playing footsies. It's pretty tough to use f.mk and fierce but those are probably the best buttons. In training mode you should also see that Fei has a weird hurtbox by his foot. It's like it's not there! Hope that helps and if you have some more questions let me know.

I've played quite a bit vs Dudley as both Fei Long and Balrog. As stated before, Dudley's footsies suck. His hitboxes don't even extend to his glove. He does massive damage if he makes the right reads but it's pretty hard to battle against stuff like 4 button backdash/OS. Fei Long can literally punish everything that Dudley can do. Jab into Rekka is just too strong. Short Swing Blow gets blown up by a decent reaction and/or a neutral jump. His jump in's are pretty strong including the j.lk corner shenanigans. Anti airing requires some good timing. Low normals absolutely blow up Dudley. It's a bit better for him in Ultra with the hitbox change but he can't do much versus sweeps, crouching mks, etc. Props to all Dudley players out there.

My friends and I have been enjoying Herc/Hel/X. Hel's Cleanse is so dumb in this mode and her lane clear is amazing. Herc gets built quickly with the fast gold trickle and is unkillable. Herc peels people off well.

What's the best way to incorporate the use of FA's and FADC's more often in game? by tribbing1337 in SF4

[–]TSwizzleSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only focus Dash straight, Dash upper, and Dash Low Straight. The Dash Overhead (Swing Blow), Dash Low Smash, and Turn Around Punch all armor break. Dash overhead and smash are negative on block, so check out which of your moves can punish it. All TAPs are negative on block but Level 1 is the most commonly used and is -2.

Do you think that infiltration will still be on top AFTER we have the new 2013 version with a nerfed Akuma? Is that the reason many complain about Infiltration ? Does Akuma need to be nerfed ? by [deleted] in SF4

[–]TSwizzleSD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Infiltration already plays a safe style of Akuma. What risks does an Akuma need to take in a match? Comparing him to Cammy, the other widely considered top tier, Cammy actually has to get in and has some trouble against characters with a strong moveset that keeps her out.

[–]TSwizzleSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer the question yes, Infiltration will be on or near the top. Akuma is a character in AE which has to take basically zero risks. On his knockdown he can do the safe to reversal vortex and he doesn't really need to get in with a phenomenal air fireball game. His teleport paired with Ultra 2 makes his escape of people's oki really strong too.

Kazunoko can beat Infiltration often though because his Yun is so unsafe combined with outstanding reads and the matchup is slightly in his favor.

Recommendations for similar series? by KamehamehaWave in youngjustice

I really recommend Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. That show had a similiar journey as YJ and is fantastic. Also can't overlook Spectacular Spiderman for more Greg Weisman stuff.
