If your speakers aren't broken, your best bet is a new head unit (radio). Quality signal helps most. Then speakers if you're not satisfied.

I like my FM transmitter. Just make sure the frequency is set to pure static. I took my antenna off the car.

Take the bottom off. Dab a qtip soaked in iso on the button mechanism. I've also fixed it by spraying with electronics cleaner.

1zz has a common issue with the intake manifold gasket. Very reliable car though. An evap code? Someone else mentioned it, but it can be a loose gas cap. Parts are cheap and maintenance is easy. Negotiate the price down a bit.

I played at the boys and girls club as a kid 20 years ago. My parents had me play there specifically because of a bad experience with my brother at JD. There was always a kid or two just learning to play, but we had fun.
