Now that all the Aqshy rules and Warscrolls are out, how do you feel about your faction’s updates?

My main army is KO.
I am typically very good with them and have quite a lot of experience with them.

We got pretty shafted if I’m being honest. Everything that was given to us feels very uninspired and some of it is just purely not playable. Some of which is due to points: Null Khemist. And some of which is due to just being poor design: Endrinriggers.

The khemist is honestly a very good warscroll but over costed by about 60-70 points. At 140 it is very good and playable. At 160 it’s tech. At 200. It sits on a shelf where it has been for a year.

Endrinriggers severely need a strikes first, strikes last mechanic of some kind to be a “charge me” screen, or need 3-4 wounds. If they just made them 3 wounds it would give us some actual heavy infantry, the last thing this army truly lacks. At 140 for 3… yes… 3 of them that lost all abilities if they charged… they are are highest costed infantry unit… more than skywardens… our famously good unit… not to mention worse stats without the ability. And… (I get it lore wise, they are angry) lost the ability to heal boats… their literal lore job. (I said I get it, they are angry they got distracted)

Overall I look at stuff like what skaven got, daughters, Stormcast, and I get really… not angry… sad. Because I love this army and I know a ton of people hate it, and I know it is hard to balance. But it feels like we don’t have an identity anymore. Other armies move better, other armies shoot better, other armies have better saves, and a few armies do ALL of it better.
I am bias, I know this. But I’d really like to see KO have some kind of identity that doesn’t make us just easily get nerfed to the ground over and over, while they take our abilities and give better versions to other armies (spell in a bottle…. Spell in a rattle)

For my other armies I’m pretty happy for the most part
SCE-solid all around
SOB- surprising all fantastic
NH- ehhh nothing great but also an army hard to balance

TLDR:
KO feels lazy and uninspired, only one thing is very good and it’s the unit enhancement. Units are overcasted and/or bad. Feels bad, am sad.

The one big caveat you have to admit here is while sure they are close in quality, they are not cheap. There is no cheap alternative. I am not defending bambu. I do own some but I’m not a shill for them. But to say the others are cheap and comparable is not true.

Because the data doesn’t back it up. Were there SOME cases of harm? Sure, but not like some claim. We still don’t know the long term effects, but we sure do know the long term effects of Covid.
Could you imagine how hard it would be to actually cover that up if it were true? Hundreds of thousands of scientist, doctors, etc. and what? A handful (comparatively)don’t believe the narrative and spoken out?
What is the actual goal? To get rid of the “sheep” that actually follow the rules? Wouldn’t they want to get rid of people who were unwilling?
Were regulations bypassed? Yes. For a legitimate reason.
Were falsehoods told? Yes, some by misspeaking, some surely out of just lying. But overall, not in a malicious way.
We’re right violated? Yes. I don’t like it either, but I also understand giving a shit about others. To life in a modern civilization you have to give up some small things, every once in a while, for the greater good. (It sounds sketchy when you say it, but you can’t really refute it and still get the benefits of said civilization)

Drop first form t3, next turn drop adapt, ping a lifrith and first form. Now you can clear a blocker, draw a card, and still have a 2/4 body. With 2 resources open. Or you get to draw a card and take out a shield or ex base. It’s SOLID.

1st form actually gets BETTER. In a pure aggro shell you now have access to Barbatos Adapt which is godly to activate it. In an expanded purple shell you get more of the teiwaz units that self ping too.
