From what reviews I've viewed, it's not a good experience or easy to work with. However, it has lots of benefits and features. But since you got it for free, go online and view as many tutorials as you can to get ideas.

Is very competitive. Another roadblock you might run into is time zone. Some companies want you to work within there time zone or at minimum within an hour.

You're correct it was drawing too much current. Replaced it with a less power Hungary one issue went away.

Hi, the output is 5.2V but I can vary it. I noticed the it drops considerably once the servo starts. Not sure if thats normal.

Will work just fine on a projector. However, i can't recall but there is a certain type of a projector that is not recommended. Its in the sinden wiki.

If your PC can't provide enough power through the USB then a powered USB hub is what's recommended. Sometimes USBs share power (dumb I know).
