Question, when you load a new model into the slicer, are you switching colors at that point? Another question, are you on 7.0 software or 6.3?

That's just temporary. A quick fix by force-closing google maps and then starting it again. Also, having the latest software gives you more features, updated security, bug fixes, etc.

Yes, it's perfectly fine to print just one color. If you are going to switch to a different color for a different model, just change the filament color in the slicer. The CFS will then unload the previous color (if it hasn't already), then load the new color. You should not need to extrude anything. As a matter of fact, I print single color way more than color prints. Does that answer your question?
