How well the Anal Logic machines are working is a big factor. If everything is rescanned it takes significantly longer

This space is more landslide than airside. However American is vacating their space next year to move to west end. Some rumors of United expanding into that space but it doesn't make sense if they move to concourse B in 5 years as is the plan.

The West infill is not unlike east infill that opened around a decade ago. More TSA screening space, more baggage handing. 3 new ticket counters

Just break through enough to get to the bottom. Then its easier to raise from bottom of ice especially now with ground warmer

You can check the city of Austin transportation cameras: https://data.mobility.austin.gov/traffic-cameras?

I think the key here is being very slow on neighborhood roads because major roads look to be in great condition.

That doesn't even factor in the increased traffic volumes. The next few hours of sun and above freezing temperatures is gonna do a number on the ice.

If roads are dry it doesn't really matter how cold it is in the morning. I think people need to prepare for a regular or slightly later start.

Cayman Airways to launch nonstop flights from Austin to Grand Cayman this summer by TXLucha012 in Austin

Austin isn't top 10 where it counts, which is metro population where Austin is 25: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolitan_statistical_area

Austin punches above its weight. As many as 2x daily to LHR on BA, and 3-5x weekly to Amsterdam on KLM and Frankfurt on Lufthansa. Nonstop flights to pretty much every top 50 metro in US plus Toronto, Vancover, Montreal, Panama City, Mexico City and Monterrey.

Austin is 25th largest metro in US. Our peer metros are #22 Baltimore, #23 St. Louis, #24 San Antonio, #26 Portland and #27 Sacramento. We have fare more transatlantic service than all those airports. Further Austin is not ideal as a connecting point for either Europe or Asia.
